Does it make me stupid I dont know what binocular vision was?

I didn't know what it was in class when I saw it wrtiiten on the board and then some guy I dont like is like, "You know how you lok into binoculars? Imagine seing that all the time" and my friend just screams, "ITS BINOCULAR VISION ITS SELF EXPLANATORY!"
