What do you think of my Characters?

pretty good so far but I wish you would list more personal traits about them, what traits draw them together. Nathaniel seems like a boring rational person who has no interest for love at all when he is described. Also I'm confused about how hes a diligent church goer why is he atheistic, it would be fine except he meets his love at a place that he doesn't really enjoy. But maybe thats a good thing, good job anyway
