Looking for an alternative song?

I was in Ocean City MD listing to 93.5 the beach, i heard a song and i loved it now that im home im trying to find it with no luck. It was a male singer, light rock/alternative, with a woman in the chrous. He was singing about his dad and the only real lyrics i think i can remember are "look at me now" or something like that. Every time i search those lyrics i get a bunch of really popular songs. I also know its not Good Charlotte or Simple Plan ive tried those. Thanks in advance.
