Do packages from Amazon sometimes come in a day earlier than expected?

I ordered a microphone for a restaurant that I work at. It says it's supposed to be here by the 28th. And today is Sunday, so they don't ship today. But right now, it says it's 1 hour away in Charlotte, NC. Do you think it might come in by tomorrow? Because the restaurant needs it soon! Thanks.
